The 50 year-old entrepreneur and CEO are revolutionizing the spaceflight industry with SpaceX, transforming the world of the electric car at Tesla, and pushing neuroscience and transportation forward at Neuralink and the Boring Company.




Elon Musk sold $6.9 Billion worth of Tesla stock in last 7 days after his twitter followers voted yes to the suggestion poll.


Due to Musk’s stock sale, Tesla’s stock is down by 16% in the last 7 days and it lost almost $200 Billion in market value. Elon Musk still owns 166 Million shares of Tesla. According to CNBC, “Some of the shares were sold in part to satisfy tax obligations related to an exercise of stock options.”


On November 6th, Elon Musk asked his twitter followers for their opinion on whether he should sell some of his stake to pay a huge amount of taxes. He said ” Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock. Do you support this?”
